Nepal (Part 4)

A continuation of our trip from Thorong La Pass (18000') to our trip end (Pokhara) and bank to Kathmandu.

It's much drier on this side. Looking towards the forbidden Mustang Kingdom.

Small town architecture.

Ok. I am not exaggerating. It was windy. Very windy. Consistent 40-60 mph winds, not gusts. Hence me using my hat as dust protection.

Sarah after our brutal, windy day. She thought it was the toughest day on the trip.

Relaxing that evening.

Probably the best breakfast on the trip, a tasty skillet!

Looking towards Dhaulagiri (8000 meter peak)

Door to nowhere, yet everywhere.

Looking towards Dhaulagiri

Yes, this swing is as crazy as it looks!

Awesome sunset view from Gorepani.

Triple waterfall.

Cherry blossoms.

Harvesting millet by hand. That would be a tough job.

Pretty sure these women could beat me up. Look at those loads!

Hard at work providing us with potable water. We filtered everything that we drank.

Posing with Dhaulagiri in background. This was a steep, hot day.

The friendly water buffalo.

Sunrise at Poon Hill

Annapurnas from Poon Hill

Ryan with Dhaulagiri in background

Sarah w/Fishtail in background

Sarah warming her hands after the trek up to Poon Hill.

Clear blue water at the lowlands.

Finish! We did it!

The A-team, Sarah, Ryan, Shree (Guide) and trusty or Perkhas (Porter)

Ryan with a creepy Yeti at the international mountain museum in Pokhara.

Boats on the lake in Pokhara.

Last day in Kathmandu!
